French artist André Delfau, born 1914, was a scenery and costumes designer for Ruth Page, Dance Theatre of Harlem. American Ballet Caravan and for the European premiere of Serenade at the Paris Opera, April 30 1946. He traveled thoughout the Orient including Burma.

This is a super collection of original gouaches of a men's bath as remembered from one of his voyages.
