All of these paintings are about life-size in black and white oil paint on black or white acid free archival canvas. I use only the best materials available so this work will last for generations. They are rolled for ease of shipping, include a Certificate of Authenticity and can easily be stretched or mounted by your framer. My backgrounds are generally stark white or jet black without variation. Any change in shade you see here is due to lighting unless it is an obvious texture. My work always looks better in person.

They are painterly in person with depth and texture. As you get some distance they begin to look "Photo-realistic" but they are paintings and the expert brushwork shows.

Most measure 3 x 5 ft, if it's more square, it will be 3 x 3 ft.

I generally paint from a photograph. Customers who have special images they would like to see in a painted form are welcome to contact the manstouch gallery for information and price quote. Turnaround time is about 2 weeks.

CompartMENtalized - New Collection

Everyone makes assumptions about the people they meet based on very little information. We stereotype them or “put them in boxes” that we can easily understand. This series of near life-size paintings illustrate these compartmentalized prejudices using the classical figure in black & white within the limited environment of a 3 x 3 ft box.
