"Be Modern: The MOMA Ccome to Paris."

The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and the Louis Vuitton Foundation present, for the first time in France, a selection of more than 200 works from the museum's six curatorial departments, reflecting the history of the institution. The first comprehensive show of its kind.

Among the artists on display are Max Beckmann, Alexander Calder, Marcel Duchamp, Walker Evans, Gustav Klimt, René Magritte, Pablo Picasso, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Frank Stella, Paul Signac and many others. Paul Cézanne's "The Bather" to films like Walt Disney's animated short, "Steamboat Willie." Sculptures, drawings, prints, photographs, media works, performances, and architecture and design objects will trace the evolution and multifaceted scope of MoMA's collection.

The exhibition was conceived in relation to the Frank Gehry architecture and interior spaces of the Fondation Louis Vuitton building, allowing a compelling historical narrative across its four floors.
