Every piece in the collection is designed to be unique, not different for the sake of novelty, but to be more comfortable, more durable, and more functional. If an item does not fulfill these criteria, it is not made by UDESHI.

Nothing is ever done purely for aesthetic reasons, there has to be some further value to a design feature, for it to be incorporated in to a UDESHI piece.
Everything is produced in strictly limited edition. Not as a marketing gimmick, but because of the immensely time consuming construction and the extraordinary hand made features and details, both visible and invisible.
The materials used in the creation of the pieces are luxurious in their simplicity. Available from only a select number of suppliers in the world, only in certain periods of the year, and sometimes only when there is an exceptional harvest, guarantee exclusivity.

The collection is entirely hand tailored in England, not purely out of patriotism, but due to the exceptional quality, concise aesthetic, attention to detail, and pride in the workmanship which distinguishes the English tradition.

The individual pieces together comprise a coherent entity. The collection is designed by one person, and not by a committee. Exacting thought is put in to every piece, and how it interacts with other elements of the collection, creating harmony throughout. This allows an outfit to be put together almost instantaneously and with minimal effort.

Each item is available in ready to wear and bespoke. Every garment is made up initially as a bespoke garment and worn till threadbare. Only when it has withstood months of continuous abuse, does it enter the collection.
Each piece must express luxury and elegance, as well as function and durability, otherwise it has failed. The wearer will know he is wearing an exceptional piece.
