Our Night Tour is the way to experience the City of Light.Cruise through the Latin Quarter and witness the best nightlife in town. Pedal down the Ile de la Cite along the river and eat ice cream at Berthillon (Paris's most famous ice cream shop). See the Louvre as never before and relax on board a boat cruise on the Seine.
Did we mention free wine is provided on the boat?
We do not stop for dinner on the Night Tour so either eat before or bring a snack with you.
Our first stop is at the most famous cathedral on the planet. Notre Dame is known worldwide as a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. Learn about the famous flying buttresses, the history inside the cathedral and how Paris can trace its roots to the Ile de la Cite. We typically arrive at sunset so have your camera ready!
Berthillon Ice Cream
By far the most famous ice cream shop in Paris. If you like, buy a scoop of about 20 offered flavors as we tell you about the early history of Paris. We eat on the Pont (bridge) St. Louis, connecting the Ile de la Cite and the Ile St. Louis, which provides us with one of the most beautiful vistas the city has to offer.
The Louvre Museum
This is a truly magical place. At night, standing in the back courtyard of Louvre will make you feel that you've been launched back into medieval times. The lighting is spectacular! We'll even show you how to catch a glimpse of the Venus de Milo from the outside.
The Boat Cruise
The most popular activity of the Night Tour is our cruise up and down the Seine through the heart of the illuminated "City of Lights." Sail past the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Louvre, Hotel de Ville and Musee D'Orsay just to name a few. The cruise lasts about one hour and most people don't want to disembark from the boat afterwards. And enjoy a complimentery glass (or more) of wine
Also see the Eiffel Tower, the Cite and St. Louis islands, St. Chapelle, the Latin Quarter, Academie Francaise, the Pont des Arts, the Champs-Elysees, Princess Di's Flame, the Arc de Triomphe and much more that you can only see with the freedom of bicycles!
I had the best time one could have in Paris thanks to your bike tour.
I wanted to let you know that our night tour was the highlight of our stay in Paris
I had a complete blast on your tours, especially the night tour.
Not only did I get oriented to the city quickly, but I met some great people and and had a great time.
We just wanted to say thank you and what a great day we had on the Monet Garden tour this summer. We never do tour or group activities when we travel and were apprehensive but the day was relaxing and a nice escape from the city. I would do it again in a heart beat.
I would like to thank you for your warm hospitality to my family when we were in Paris. My kids had to check their email twice a day and your office was the perfect location (thanks for showing us that bakery across the park too). Bailey is adorable and was quite a companion to us on the couch as we waited for the kids to finish. I hope I live like him in my next life! We will look forward to visiting you again in the future.
I recently returned from vacationing in Europe and I'm glad I finally have e-mail access so I can let you know how much fun I had on our tours with you. We went on the night tour with Jordan and then to Versailles the next day with Toby. Both Jordan and Toby were great guides and made the bike tours the highlight of my trip! We biked the Loire River Valley the next week...very nice....but not the same as your tours!!! Your shop is a great place for the American tourist to take break and let their guard down. You have done a great job of making your business friendly and comfortable. I referred to your shop as our Embassy in Paris!

I had the best time one could have in Paris thanks to your bike tour. My days were so long and tiresome walking from hotel to hotel touring the properties that it was so refreshing to meet up with your friendly and light-hearted staff. Ryan was my guide and Bronwen took very good care of me! The bike tour was so relaxing that it just melted away the stress of the day. I just couldn't believe the way we had the run of the streets in our private bike and bus lane. And the sites... breathtaking. My favorite was the inside of the Louvre courtyard framed with lights. Of course the wine on the cruise was priceless! When I say your tour made my trip it's an understatement. I brought back brochures for my colleagues and would highly recommend your tour to everyone. Thank you again.

Le Chateau de Versailles awaits you in all its grandeur as you return to the time period of the most famous French Kings and Queens. Allow us to bring you the most famous "palace" in the world as few others have experienced it.
After meeting at our Paris office we'll ride our bicycles to the nearest RER station for the quick 20 minute trip to Versailles.
Once at Versailles, we'll first visit the village market for all of us to buy baguettes, cheese, ham, wine or whatever you desire for our picnic later in the Chateau's gardens.
The highlight of the day is our bicycle ride through the gardens behind the Chateau. The average Versailles tourist doesn't realize that they can only visit a small fraction of the gardens on foot. We, however, are able to visit everything worth seeing including Marie Antoinette's Hameau and the quiet Petit and Grand Trianons. The gardens and forests are crisscrossed by a network of fantastic trails and tree-lined paths.
Bring your camera for breath-taking views in every direction.Once we arrive at the far end of the Grand Canal we'll settle down for our picnic in the exact spot where Kings Louis XIV, XV and XVI ate in order to marvel at their house at the other end. The magnitude of Versailles and the basis for the anger of the French citizens in 1789 is finally understood. But today we'll simply relax all alone in the grass and sunshine since we're the only ones that can easily reach the end of the Grand Canal.
After lunch we'll pedal again through the gardens back towards the Chateau itself for an unforgettable view into the lives of the monarchy before being deposed by the Revolution in 1789. Visit the Hall of Mirrors (site of the treaty ending World War I), the King's state apartments and the amazing King's chapel.
And finally after enjoying one of the treasures of France we'll return to Paris via the RER.

Departures:
April 1 - May 15: Wed and Sat (various morning departure times).
May 16 - September 30: Tu, Wed and Sat (various morning departure times).

Now you can visit Claude Monet's breath-taking gardens, unique house, the quaint villages of Vernon & Giverny and enjoy a fabulous bicycle ride on our private path along the Seine. Allow us to make the out-of-town trip an easy and enjoyable one for you.
We'll go by rail through the beautiful wheat & sunflower fields of Normandy, along the lazy Seine river to the village of Vernon. Once in Vernon we will visit their charming farmers' market to buy our picnic supplies.
We'll then hop on our bikes and pedal across the river to a beautiful park along the banks of the Seine for lunch (see the park).
At lunch we'll also sample the local's favorite drink: cidrer. Of course we know where to send you to buy the best cidre in the region if you want to take some home for a future celebration.
It will then be time for our relaxing 5 km ride down the bike path to the village of Giverny and the world-famous gardens of Claude Monet. We'll cruise past the Giverny church and its cemetery containing graves of local citizens dating back to the 17th century, British soldiers from World War II and even Monet himself buried within his family's vault. We'll pass the Hotel Baudy where Monet welcomed guests such as fellow-Impressionists Manet and Renoir to paint.
Shortly we'll arrive at the highlight of the day - The Gardens We will spend about 1 1/2 hours enjoying Monet's gardens, his house and the famous water lily pond where some of his most famous works originated. Be sure to bring your camera and plenty of film!
Additionally, the village of Giverny offers you the American Museum of Art (across the street from Monet's gardens), numerous cafes and small streets begging to be explored.
You also have the option of spending some of this time riding 3 km to the actual cidre producer. It's a tough climb at the beginning, but with thousands of bottles of cider awaiting you at the top, why not? The glide down the hill back to Giverny is effortless too.
Finally we'll re-group for the return ride to Vernon and our train to Paris.
