Afer arrival and settling in you will take an escorted private guided wlaking tour of your chosen "quartier"learning about its history and culture..

You will experience a range of typical French culinary and wine experiences by taking a half day cooking class, a wine promenade where you will taste 5 different wines and visit authentic and historical wine bars frequented by the locals.

In addition, I have selected dinner experiences at the world famous the Eiffel Tower as well as the Procope - the oldest restaurant in Paris and to top it off and evening of fun and music at the Moulin Rouge.

To put all this in context I have included a Hop On Hop Off bus ticket. It is one of my favorite ways to discover a city .

A personalized, fun, educational and hands-on approach to learning French cooking. Each class is held in a large, bright studio in the heart of Paris. You will be gracefully guided for half a day through the preparation and presentation of a classic French meal, from the enticing entrée, to the mouth-watering main dish, to the sweet patisserie.

The aim of your wine tour is to immerse you in the authentic wine and bar culture of Paris. Led by a young Frenchman (who speaks English) and is passionate about wine and Paris, and he will introduce you to bars and cafes which locals frequent, and where we will have our wine ‘tastings’, including interesting selections from smaller producers. You will also explore this historic district and its famous buildings and sites on our walk.

The worldwide symbol of Paris. It was built for the World Fair of 1889, held to commemorate the centenary of the French Revolution. Named after its designer, Gustave Eiffel and held the record as the world's tallest structure until 1930.

In a decor reminiscent of an airship, you will dine out at the “Altitude 95” restaurant on the 1st floor of the Eiffel Tower (wine included).

The Procope

The Procope, the oldest restaurant in Paris and the first café, opened in 1686. The owner was Francesco Procopio Dei Coltelli. In 1689, the Comédie-Française moved to opposite the Procope and, between shows, the café became 'THE' café for theatre-goers and actors. Voltaire, Rousseau and Diderot were loyal regulars and the Encyclopaedia was born under the crystal centre-lights of the Procope. During the revolution, Danton, Marat could all be found here. Benjamin Franklin even fine-tuned the American constitution here.
