Some people believe that the more expensive their equipment, the better their photos will be. Unfortunately this is far from true. In fact, the ability to 'see' creatively is the most important aspect of striking and meaningful photography.
Training the eye and the mind to instinctively sense when there is a great image to be captured is what you will learn on our photo tours in Paris.
Learning by doing is our motto, and from the very first moment you will be taking photos, encouraged by Sab's enthusiasm and guided by his expert suggestions and advice.
Some of the many things you will learn on your personalized tour include:
• How to always be ready for the unexpected
• How to see things differently, and to always search for the unusual and the remarkable
• How to turn an ordinary scene into something exceptional
• How to make the most of poor conditions, such as low light, rain, too many people and lack of inspiration!
• How to easily understand the more 'advanced' features of your camera - you'll learn that you can 'touch that dial' with confidence!
• How to use classic techniques such as subject positioning, intelligent framing, depth-of-field, foreground interest and creative blur to transform your 'snaps' into works of art worthy of publication
• How zooming with your legs produces a radically different result to zooming with your lens and when to use each method
• How to anticipate, wait for and finally capture legendary photographer Robert Doisneau's 'decisive moment'
• How to play with light and shadow, colours and shapes, textures and urban architecture to astonishing effect
• How to let your imaginations fly...

"By the way I took all of the photos except for the one of the tabletop at the cafe. That was Sab's composition. Sab taught me how to use my camera, how to control what I wanted to get in the photo, and a little about composition...I'd say quite a bit for a Friday afternoon in the Rain."
