2009 - Wanted to say how much we enjoyed the two tours we arranged with you; Reims was a great, albeit damp day, Reng incredibly knowledgeable, a great driver and wonderful tour guide. Lunch was almost too much! The tour was a great way to see the strengths of small and large producers. The cathedral was magnificent.
Charlotte was a delight; so bright and knowledgeable, we loved all the wine bars; they really had a wonderful authentic feel and the wine choices gave us lots to learn.
I would certainly not hesitate to recommend your tours to anyone; both guides were interesting, informative and showed us a sample of Paris and France we would have missed on our own. Again thanks, Ellen

Wine was produced on 42,000 hectares around Paris during the 18th century. Due to urbanization and the phyllox virus the vineyards were almost all destroyed.
In 2005 there were 134 vineyards on the Ile de France producing 33,000 bottles of wine. The most famous now is the Clos de Montmartre where today you can visit the vineyard and taste the wine they produce.

Description: Meet at the bottom of the picturesque rue Mouffetard, rich with history and once home to Hemmingway. Pass medieval churches and the Pantheon as you meander through the oldest part of Paris.

Description: As you walk towards the Eglise Eustache, a magnificent 16th century church, you will stop en route at charming wine bars that the locals frequent. Description: Start your tour close to the only remaining vinyard in Paris that still produces wine. You will heard towards the Place de Terte and soak in the atmosphere that once inspired Picasso, Talouse Le Trec and Renoir. Description: Join us for an English introduction to French wine. Your Sommelier will guide you through the different varieties of whites and reds and their regions such as Burgundy, the Loire Valley, Bordeaux and the Cote du Rhone. You will learn how to gently swirl your wine to release it's flavors and aromas as well as examine the wine's color, tint and density. As you slowly sip the wine and allow it to roll over your palate, you will learn to identify the main components of taste, the importance of the grapes selected and the effect of aging. 3 small producer wines from different regions will be offered.
